The Gamecrafter, Print On Demand partner for Digital Gryphon Decks and which I suggest as one option for indie deck creators, now offers a set of sample cards with all their current finishing options.
The set of poker card size (2.5″x3.5″) samples include:
Blank;
Printed (no add-on options);
Printed and UV coated;
Printed with Linen treatment;
Printed on Clear PVC;
Printed with Foil;
Printed with Linen and UV coated.
They charge US$3.41 plus shipping. At the moment they don’t offer an inexpensive shipping option if ordered by itself, but I’ve asked them to consider providing such an option.
Perhaps combine it with an order for the Color Printing Guide for The Gamecrafter that’s published by the creators of Worlde of Legends games. A few items are specific to their game but it’s a great reference to printing at TGC.
The mint tin contains 51 swatch cards with various thematic palettes; seasonal, environmental, skin tones, neons and more. Cards have different swatches front & back for over 700 swatches in total. Each swatch has the hex code so you can compare your monitor with an actual printed sample.
As of today that item is US$21.99 +shipping. I did a dummy order for the Printing Guide and the Card Finishes Sample Pack. With standard shipping to Ohio the total is US$33.57. A wise investment in my book.
A reminder that I’ve consolidated and expanded the various posts on here about TGC at DigitalGryphonDesign.com.
