For decades I resisted having “too many quirks” and put up with far too much mayhem in my head.
All our clothes hangers are being sorted into 3 piles. White, Black, and All Others -which includes a few metal ones and some with significantly different hook sizes. The last pile will be donated.
White and light coloured clothing is getting hung on black hangers, while darker items go on the white ones. Much better visibility in the closet.
This new policy is being implemented over a few weeks as items are being chosen for donation to a local thrift store. Clothing, along with those Other Hangers.
This is making some special part of me feel alive and validated.
