Today there is yet another report of a gay (or perceived gay) teenager killing himself – bringing the known/ reported such incidents in the USA up to a dozen or more in two months. May the spirits of those who are driven to suicide by blind hatred and fear find a peace that I hope is forever denied to those who would sacrifice those precious lives in order to score political points or advance some dogma. I have no idea what, if anything, awaits our spirit after it leaves our bodies, but I can only wish that the spirit of such hate-mongers learn what true suffering is.
