Reflections in a Raindrop

I’ve been to the Whetstone Park of Roses twice in the past few days. While working through the 200 images I took, I discovered that the raindrop hanging off the petal of this rosa ‘John Cabot‘ had much more detail than I expected. Most of the raindrops in my pictures are on a petal or leaf; they tend to reflect the colour around them without much detail.

To the left is a close-up of the raindrop; to the right is the full image; available as true photographic prints at my ZenFolio Galleries.
